Codeshift Healthcare Solutions is a Chennai-based medical coding training and placement-support institute. We take life-science, paramedical and allied-health graduates to their first coding role, and working coders to the certification or specialty that moves them up — CPC, CCS, surgery, E/M, IP-DRG and CDIP.
Employers no longer hire untrained graduates in volume. They hire coders who can read a chart, find the right code, and defend the choice from the guidelines. So that is how we teach: in the code books, on real charts, with honest advice about which course you actually need — even when that is a different one from the course you asked about.

Yes, especially for life-science, paramedical and allied-health graduates. BMCT is the course designed to assume nothing — it builds the anatomy, terminology and code-book fluency every certification sits on.
New to coding: BMCT. Coding already and need a certification: CPC for outpatient and physician-side work, CCS for hospital work. Moving into inpatient: IP-DRG or the IP-DRG + CCS Elite Combo. Ready to move off production coding: CDIP. Talk to us and we will give you a straight assessment of which route fits.
Neither is better — they are aimed at different work. CPC (AAPC) is physician-side and outpatient, and appears most often in entry-level Indian job postings. CCS (AHIMA) is hospital-oriented, covers inpatient and outpatient, and appears most often in inpatient, DRG, QA and audit postings. Tell us where you want to work and we will tell you which to take.

With proper training and practice, IP-DRG coding is highly achievable and rewarding. Our IP-DRG Upskilling Program ends with ten days of nothing but chart practice, because that is where inpatient coding is actually learned.
